Bumps and Bubbles

After three months of Jameson re-enacting the winter dressing scene from “A Christmas Story,” where Randy exclaims “I can’t put my arms down!” each time we went outside, we finally had one day that was warm enough to shed a few layers. Jim, Jameson and I spent the afternoon at Century Park where Jameson could chase bubbles, kick a ball around and just be free!

"I can put my arms down!"

I suppose my shoes matched Jameson's outfit better than his Adidas
He thought wearing my shoes was hilarious!

We had not been to Century Park since my mother was here in October.
Three months is a long time for a two-year-old to be trapped indoors.

Just today we confirmed that my mother is planning to come
stay with us for a while when Giselle is born.
Being away from home during the birth of a new baby might be a little complex,
but having my mom here might just eclipse any difficulties.

My baby bump is growing and so is baby Giselle.
At 28 weeks, she is now the size of a head of Napa Cabbage.

Even though it snowed again yesterday...

the cherry blossoms remind us that spring is not far away
and neither is the birth of our baby girl.
We only have 11 weeks and 2 days until May 20th!
