He's so faithful! Playing the guitar is something every songwriter should have within his or her grasp, so this has been my focus for a while now. I finally have a piece that is written for the guitar and easy enough for me to play and sing in performance (or so it is in theory.)
My hope is to change between piano and guitar when doing gigs. My song is called "Faithful" and it is a bit melancholy, but sounds kinda folky and country. Can you believe that? I'm hardly a Dixie chic! I guess the redneck Oregon girl is goin' back to her roots!
Gosh, I gotta really work on these calluses. Now I know why Joe Satriani wears gloves to wash the dishes... water is bad Mmkay!
