Nest

Although baby Giselle does not have her own room in our Shanghai apartment, she does have her own space. We learned of our move to San Diego the day after I purchased a second-hand dresser and changing table for Giselle. At first it seemed as though I should have skipped these purchases, but after receiving so many gorgeous gifts for our little girl, we needed a place to store her things. In spite of the impending move, Giselle will be here in two weeks so let the nesting begin!

The cherry blossoms in Century Park were my inspiration for the artwork,
as well as loads of polka dots.

Who knows what Giselle’s nursery will be like in San Diego (or our lives for that matter),
but for now, I am content with her own little “nest” in our living room!
