This weekend was crazy busy, but last night's performance made everything worth it. I feel like I am finally doing what I was born to do. For the first time, I don't regret not going back to finish my masters in Opera at the Conservatory. I was built to glorify God through the music that he gives me, not through the music that he gave someone else hundreds of years ago.
The performance was a smash. We were in a small church that maxed out at 80 so having 60 people was perfect. It was so fun to work with the band in this setting. It feels as though we are a real band now.
There is a connection that performers get on stage together that never exists anywhere else in relationships. It is special and I'm so glad to have it with this group of people!
